Printing Method

This is part of my generative series titled Chromasoma. From the greek khrōma meaning ‘color’ + sōma meaning ‘body’. To create this series, I developed a generative algorithm that allows me to breed art at massive scales. The colors and textures are the result of a massive mathematical function with parameters that are linked to the "DNA" of each piece. By breeding together different art pieces using a human-machine interface and an AI assistant that I developed, I am able to explore the incredible depth of possibilities and identify potential solution spaces that have favorable characteristics, like the piece you see here. Because the art is analytically defined by a math function it can be generated at any size and scale.

Each piece has its own unique gene identifier, written using the same notation as a gene in the human genome. I derive these by computing the dominant colors within the art, in order of prevalence.

Note: The Large Room and Mural sizes are only available for the Fine Art Acrylic Photo Print options. In-between and custom sizes can be available upon request. Product does not arrive framed (although the Fine art acrylic photo print arrives ready to hang with gallery standard mounting brackets on the back), but many framing options are available upon request.

Fine Art Giclée Print

The product is printed on Hahnemühle fine art paper at gallery quality with an enormous color range, so all the wonderful colors of the piece will shine through vibrantly. By default I use Hahnemühle pearl, which has medium texturing and a pearlescent finish. Other options are available upon request. This product arrives unframed, rolled in a tube for easy shipping. Although I recommend framing be done locally, many framing options are available, email me with inquiries at

Specifications: 285 gsm · 100% α-Cellulose · bright white · pearl-finish

Fine Art Acrylic Photo Print

The art is printed on an ultra-HD Fuji Crystal Professional Archive Maxima Paper (1) with an aluminum Dibond substrate (2) and face mounted to a piece of 1/4" shatterproof acrylic glass (3) (the larger and mural options use 1/8" glass for a lighter weight). For easy mounting, there are gallery quality aluminum rails attached to the back so your art will arrive ready to hang. The piece sits out from the wall by about 0.75" (or 101.6cm x 76.2cm x 1.9cm). It weighs approximately 10kg/m^2.

About The Artist

With a PhD in optics/physics, Caleb Gannon has proven his attention to detail, organization and an insistence on perfection. Every piece is meticulously crafted to make sure your final product is an awe inspiring work of art.

Each piece is created and printed at high resolution (300DPI). The larger prints are never upscaled in any way, they are created at full size and will be bursting with fine detail for you to explore.

Shipping Info

When you place an order, you will receive email notifications confirming your order, and a second email with tracking information when your product has shipped. If an item becomes lost or damaged during shipping we will send you a replacement for free.

Each piece takes around 8-10 business days to print and ship to most places around the globe. (The large room and mural options may take longer to create and ship). I offer free shipping to North America and Europe. For other continents there will be an additional charge for shipping.

Return Policy

I offer 100% no hassle replacements of defective or damaged products (without the need to return anything).

If you are not happy with the quality of your product, it was damaged, defective or you have other issues with your order contact me at within 10 days of receipt of the product (the sooner the better) and I'll do everything I can to help you find a solution. If possible, attaching photos of the problem can significantly speed up the process.
